Job summary

Sterling in Kraków is seeking a motivated Junior IT Administrator eager to learn and solve technical challenges while keeping our IT systems running smoothly.

You will administer Microsoft 365, provide IT support for Windows, macOS, VPN, and Intune, and help maintain security and documentation. The role offers hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, device management, and IT security, with a collaborative team culture and clear growth paths.

Qualifications

• English proficiency minimum B2
• Basic experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Basic understanding of device management (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS)
• Familiarity with endpoint management and security concepts
• Basic knowledge of IT security principles
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues through a ticketing system
• Willingness to follow procedures and document processes
• Strong communication skills and a user-oriented approach
• Willingness to learn new technologies and follow structured processes

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 Environment: Independently manage and configure user accounts, groups, licenses, and security policies in Microsoft 365, under supervision.
• Provide IT Support: Handle IT system support for Windows, macOS, M365, VPN, and Intune, resolving common technical issues with minimal guidance and escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Endpoint Device Management: Configure, deploy, and manage endpoint devices following company policies and security standards, with oversight from senior staff.
• Monitor and Resolve Tickets: Independently monitor the ticket queue, prioritize issues, and resolve IT problems efficiently, escalating complex cases to senior team members.
• Create and Update Documentation: Independently create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure Compliance with IT Security: Assist in maintaining security standards and adhering to best practices, identifying potential vulnerabilities with guidance.
