Job summary

DLA Piper Poland is seeking a Junior Business Development Specialist in Warsaw to assist the BD team with strategic initiatives, client intelligence, and technology-enabled improvements. You will help create pitches, manage information, and support reporting across practice areas.

The role emphasises data-driven analysis, collaboration with lawyers and BD teams, and enhancing BD processes through digital tools and AI-enabled solutions. Strong Polish and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in business development, professional services, or related support.
• Experience with data, research, reporting or project support is advantageous.
• Excellent command of Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pitches, proposals, presentations and client-facing BD materials.
• Gather, analyse and structure information from lawyers and internal systems to support BD initiatives.
• Track BD opportunities and support reporting on BD activity.
• Contribute to BD process improvements, templates and knowledge resources.
• Support preparation of legal directory submissions (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.).
• Collect and organize matter information, credentials and client references.
• Maintain submission trackers and deadlines for reporting.
• Conduct client, market and sector research to support initiatives.
• Assist with data-driven insights for pitches and client meetings.
• Support events, campaigns and client engagement initiatives.
• Maintain BD data, credentials and CRM information for decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and information management.
