Job summary

Webfleet, Bridgestone’s fleet management solution, seeks a motivated HR & Payroll Specialist (German Speaker) to join the Warsaw team for a 1-year assignment. You will handle HR administration, support monthly payroll with our provider, and serve as a primary contact for German and other European staff while ensuring data integrity.

You will work in a multinational environment, leveraging Excel and AI tools to drive process improvements and deliver excellent service to employees.

• Experience in HR administration and payroll in an international environment.
• Knowledge of European labour law and payroll basics.
• Good communication, client-oriented and proactive.
• Proficient in English and German (written and spoken).
• Analytical mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

Job description

Here at Webfleet, we are looking for a motivated HR & Payroll Specialist (German Speaker) in the HR team of 12, composed of Payroll Specialists, HR generalists, HRBPs and Talent Acquisition Specialists. You will be working within the People Operations and Payroll team in Warsaw.

This is a temporary position for a period of 1 year.

With this 1 year contract, you will:

• Execution of HR administration processes including on/offboarding, data changes, absence management, benefits and more.
• Provide timely input to the monthly payroll and collaboration with our external payroll provider to ensure a smooth payroll process.
• Be the first point of contact for the employees within the scope (Germany, South Africa and another European country), build relationships and provide an outstanding service experience.
• Accurately update our HR system and provide reports to stakeholders while ensuring highest data quality.
• Streamline and continuously improve internal procedures and processes through the adoption of AI-driven solutions and process automation.

• You have previous work experience in a similar role in an international work environment.
• You have knowledge on the basic European labour law and payroll.
• You can prioritize and work in a structured way on projects and individually.
• You are a good communicator, client-oriented, proactive, and possess great- collaboration skills.
• You are proficient in English and German, both written and spoken.
• You have analytical skills and an eye for continuous improvement.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, with valuable experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
• Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
