Webfleet Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring, in a cloud environment. You will collaborate with product owners and architects to deliver high-quality software across multiple services.

The role requires strong Java expertise, Spring knowledge, and experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices. Excellent English communication and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications using the Spring Framework.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) to build, deploy, and manage applications and services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
• Proficient in applying AI effectively and efficiently throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including agent orchestration and skill knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with Apache Kafka in production environments.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies is a plus.
