Schaeffler is hiring a SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant to manage German payroll operations and ensure compliant, timely salary payments. You will guide clients and internal teams on payroll rules, collaborate with HR and IT to optimize systems, and drive payroll projects across the organization.

Hybrid/flexible work options apply with opportunities for remote engagement. The role requires German payroll knowledge, SAP HCM/Payroll experience, and strong English communication in a global context.

Formación

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in managing payroll processes within Germany.
• Knowledge of German labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and processing payroll operations in compliance with German regulations and standards as well as German general/works council agreements
• Ensuring our systems deliver accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, taxes, and social contributions
• Providing expert guidance on German payroll matters to clients and internal teams
• Staying updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure system compliance
• Collaborating with the HR System teams and the business to optimize payroll systems and processes
• Managing projects for German Payroll by taking responsibility for planning, execution, and completion within scope, schedule, and budget
• Driving project milestones, coordinating resources and overseeing project deliverables
• Assisting in projects and rollouts as an IT SME for German Payroll and supporting the business in defining requirements

General Information

In our "HR IT Solutions" area, the " Payroll/Time Solutions" team plays an important role by providing tools and solutions that support effective payroll processing and time management across our HR department globally. To enhance this team, we are immediately seeking a committed and experienced team member as Expert (m/f/d) for the German Payroll.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Managing and processing payroll operations in compliance with German regulations and standards as well as German general/works council agreements


• Ensuring our systems deliver accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, taxes, and social contributions


• Providing expert guidance on German payroll matters to clients and internal teams


• Staying updatedof changes in payroll legislation and ensure system compliance


• Collaborating with the HR System teams and the business to optimize payroll systems and processes


• Managing projects for German Payroll by taking responsibility for planning, execution, and completion within scope, schedule, and budget

• Assisting in projects and rollouts as an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the German Payroll and supporting the business in defining requirements

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification


• Several years of experiencein managing payroll processes within Germany


• Knowledge of German labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems is an advantage


• Experience in SAP HCMPayroll; SAP Time Management andSAP SuccessFactorsCompensationare beneficial


• Several years of experience in implementation of HR digitalization projects


• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA is beneficial


• Good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial


• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Polish (min. B2 level)


• Fluency in both English and German, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency


• Capability to read and understand German Law texts and work council agreements which are only available in German language
