Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. z o.o. in Łódź is seeking an Order Handling Specialist to ensure timely and accurate execution of customer orders within the Insulating Components Plant. You will manage orders, confirmations, and shipments, and collaborate with the transport team to optimize logistics.

The role requires a university degree, experience in sales/logistics/order management in manufacturing, strong English, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

• University degree
• Experience in sales, logistics, procurement, or order management in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Very good command of English for communication in an international setting
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is an asset

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating the register of orders and quotations, including entering orders into SAP
• Preparing order confirmations and commercial agreements
• Maintaining ongoing communication with customers throughout the entire order‑handling process
• Coordinating shipments to customers, including issuing sales invoices and shipping documentation
• Working closely with the transport department to arrange cost‑optimized logistics solutions
• Preparing reports and analyses related to processed orders
• Managing customs‑related tasks for export shipments
• Archiving and maintaining complete documentation for handled orders
• Receiving customer complaints and forwarding them to the quality department
• Supporting internal process improvements within the order management area
