Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Łódź is seeking an Order Handling Specialist to ensure timely and accurate execution of customer orders in a manufacturing setting.

You will create and maintain order registers, coordinate shipments, manage customs tasks, and liaise with sales, logistics, and quality teams to optimize processes. A university degree and English fluency are required, with SAP and MS Office skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• Experience in sales, logistics, procurement, or order management in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Very good command of English for communication in an international setting.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax and customs regulations (preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Good organizational skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Create and update the register of orders and quotations, including entering orders into SAP.
• Prepare order confirmations and commercial agreements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the order-handling process.
• Coordinate shipments to customers, including issuing sales invoices and shipping documentation.
• Work with the transport department to arrange cost-optimized logistics solutions.
• Prepare reports and analyses related to processed orders.
• Manage customs-related tasks for export shipments.
• Archive and maintain complete documentation for handled orders.
• Receive customer complaints and forward them to the quality department.
• Support internal process improvements within the order management area.
