Job summary

TechTree is partnering with a fast-growing fintech client to recruit a Chief Operating Officer who will own the strategic, commercial, and operational development of the business from Warsaw in a hybrid setup.

The role requires senior leadership in fintech with deep payments or credit expertise and strong P&L ownership; international expansion experience is a plus. Competitive executive-level package on a B2B contract.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in fintech, financial services, banking, payments, or lending.
• Deep expertise in payments or credit, with strong P&L ownership.
• Top-tier strategy consulting backgrounds considered, with subsequent hands-on operating experience.
• International expansion or multi-market experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational development across consumer credit, business credit, and payments.
• Own commercial performance and key elements of the P&L.
• Align product, technology, sales, legal, compliance, and regulatory teams.
• Drive international market-entry and expansion strategies.
• Build new processes, capabilities, teams, and potentially new business lines.
