Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking data scientists who turn ambiguous business questions into models and analyses that get used. You’ll frame problems, wrangle data, build models, and explain numbers to non-Python audiences, using pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

You’ll work with Microsoft Fabric, Palantir Foundry, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. We offer AI grants, a center of excellence, and access to tools like Claude, Cursor, and Copilot, with real project variety and conference

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid statistical foundations: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions: define hypotheses, choose metrics, and select the right modeling approach.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python (pandas, NumPy), with structured and semi-structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendations.
• Design and analyze experiments: A/B tests, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis.
