Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking experienced data scientists to turn ambiguous business questions into robust models and analyses that are actually used in practice. You will frame problems, wrangle data, build and validate models, and explain results to non-Python speakers while leveraging the classic Python data stack and modern enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid statistical foundations: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud/data platform with data science components.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions: define hypotheses, metrics, and modeling approaches.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python and structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendations.
• Design and analyze experiments: A/B tests, causal analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML/AI engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor deployed models for drift and retraining needs.
