Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking data scientists who turn ambiguous business questions into deployable models and analyses. You will frame problems, wrangle data, build and validate models, and explain numbers to non-technical colleagues.

You’ll work with Python stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and modern platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry, deploying analytics on cloud providers and presenting clear insights to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data science or analytics delivering production-ready models.
• Strong Python and data stack skills (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern data platforms.
• Ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Polish residency and Polish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into analytical solutions with clear hypotheses and metrics.
• Wrangle, clean, and explore data from diverse sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendations.
• Design experiments including A/B tests and causal analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to move models to production.
• Communicate findings via visuals and narratives to stakeholders.
