Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking data scientists to turn ambiguous business questions into practical models and analyses. You’ll frame problems, wrangle data, build and validate models, and explain results to non-Python audiences.

You’ll work with pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn, and deploy on platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry, across Azure, AWS, or GCP. The role offers diverse projects—from enterprise data platforms to AI applications—with strong emphasis on real-world impact and clear

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data science or applied analytics with validated models/analyses.
• Strong Python skills across pandas/NumPy/scikit-learn.
• Solid foundations in statistics: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.
• Experience with at least one cloud/data platform and its data science components.
• Ability to communicate analytical results to business stakeholders.
• Autonomy coupled with cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent English and Polish; residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions with hypotheses and metrics.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data from structured and semi-structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendations.
• Design experiments including A/B tests and causal analysis.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric, Palantir Foundry, and cloud platforms to deploy analytics.
• Communicate findings via visuals and narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML/AI engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor models for drift and retraining needs.
