Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a data scientist to convert ambiguous business questions into deployable models and analyses. You’ll frame problems, wrangle data, and build and validate models using the Python data stack.

You’ll explain results to non-technical stakeholders and work with Microsoft Fabric, Palantir Foundry, and cloud platforms to deploy analytics in real-world environments. You’ll join a team that emphasizes collaboration with data engineers and ML/AI engineers, delivering insights through

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data science or applied analytics with deployable models
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack
• Experience with cloud/data platforms and their data science components

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and hypotheses
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python and structured sources
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for various tasks using scikit-learn, XGBoost
• Design experiments including A/B tests and causal analysis
• Work with enterprise data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry
• Communicate findings through clear visualizations and narratives to stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML/AI engineers to move models to production
• Monitor models for drift and retrain as needed
