Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Product / Solution Business Development Manager, Analytical and Detection, to identify and pursue new opportunities across the region. You will collaborate with account managers, customers, and technical experts to demonstrate value and drive sustainable growth in Poland and the Baltics.

You will lead technical discussions, conduct demonstrations, manage the sales cycle from engagement to order, and maintain CRM data.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales, account management, or business development in a customer-facing role.
• Engineering background or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience selling in industrial sectors such as chemical, energy, refining, oil and gas, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify, create, and pursue new business opportunities for assigned products and solutions, independently and in partnership with account managers.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders, technical experts, and decision-makers to understand business challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and consultative engagements that demonstrate the value of Emerson's Analytical and Detection solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer evaluations, testing activities, and validation processes to support solution adoption and qualification.
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through successful order placement.
• Collaborate with account managers to develop key accounts, maximize business potential, and enable future solution expansion opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
• Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement of products, solutions, and customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, and project information within CRM and business management systems.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, integrity, and customer focus in all interactions and activities.
