Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Product / Solution Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new opportunities within an assigned portfolio. You will work with account managers, customers, and technical experts to demonstrate value and drive growth across industrial markets.

You will lead technical discussions, conduct demonstrations, and manage the sales cycle from engagement to order placement, traveling regularly to meet customers in Poland and the Baltics. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales, account management, Business Development Management or similar customer-facing role.
• Engineering background or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with customers in industrial sectors (chemical, energy, refining, oil & gas) preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Build relationships with customer stakeholders, technical specialists, and decision-makers to understand business needs and uncover opportunities.

• Conduct product demonstrations, customer evaluations, testing activities, and solution validation efforts.
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle from initial engagement to order placement.
• Partner with account managers to develop strategic account growth plans and expand adoption of Emerson products and solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to support continuous improvement of products, solutions, and services.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, and activity records within approved business systems and tools.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Proven experience in field sales, account management, Business Development Management or a similar customer-facing role.
• Engineering background or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with customers in industrial sectors such as chemical, energy, refining, oil and gas, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Poland and Baltics region to meet customers.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand technical needs and translate them into effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience working in a matrix or global organization.
• Experience in Level Measurement and Radar Tank Gauging Applications.
• Familiarity with instrumentation or industrial automation products.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and customer data.
• Understanding of customer applications and processes within relevant industries.
