Amazon Connect Technical Architect (Remote, Colombia)

About the Role

We are seeking an Amazon Connect Technical Architect to join a global technology company specialized in cloud-based contact center and AI-driven solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex Amazon Connect implementations that integrate AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, CloudFormation, and CRM platforms like Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.

This position requires a strong balance of hands‑on technical expertise and architectural leadership, as well as advanced English communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and enterprise customers.

Requirements

• Advanced English level (C1) – required for communication with international teams
• Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture and services
• Hands‑on scripting or coding with Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js
• Deep understanding of Amazon Connect architecture and Contact Flow Design
• Experience with Lambda, CloudFormation, Lex integration, and call routing
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodeDeploy
• Experience building API integrations, especially with WFM, CRM, and contact center systems
• Knowledge of communications protocols such as WebRTC and SIP
• Strong presentation and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to lead enterprise‑level technical initiatives with minimal oversight

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform
• Experience setting up monitoring and logging for AWS infrastructure
