Amazon Connect Solution Architect (Remote, Colombia)
About the Role
We are seeking an Amazon Connect Solution Architect to join a global technology company specialized in cloud-based contact center and AI-driven solutions.
In this role, you will lead the design, delivery, and optimization of end-to-end AWS contact center solutions, integrating Amazon Connect, Lambda, Lex, and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise, delivery experience, and advanced English communication skills who can lead conversations with global teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success in designing, building, and launching Amazon Connect solutions for enterprise clients.
- Conduct technology assessments and ROI analyses to identify opportunities for migration to AWS CCaaS (Amazon Connect).
- Facilitate business process and requirements reviews, translating them into scalable cloud architectures.
- Lead architectural discussions with customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployment in the cloud.
- Translate requirements into end-to-end contact center designs leveraging Amazon Connect, Lambda, Lex, CloudFormation, and other AWS services.
- Oversee and mentor technical teams to deliver solutions on time, on budget, and with high quality.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Drive best practices in Amazon Connect delivery and architecture across all customer engagements.
- Manage project communications, training, and enablement for customer success.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and delivering Amazon Connect solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and customer-facing contact center projects.
- Strong background in AWS services (Lambda, Lex, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3).
- Experience with CRM integrations, preferably Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.
- Hands‑on scripting/coding (Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js).
- Strong API integration, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodeDeploy) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of contact center architecture, WFM, dialers, and campaign management.
- Exposure to Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Twilio, or other contact center platforms is a plus.
- Advanced English (C1) — excellent communication and presentation skills with executives and customers.
- AWS Certifications: Cloud Practitioner, Developer, or Solution Architect (Associate or Professional).
- Ability to travel internationally if required.
