A leading supply chain company in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with over 4 years of experience. The role involves managing Material Plans, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory levels while ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- SCOPE: Responsible to establish strategic & tactical Material Plans to meet the business & revenue goals of the corporation. Makes decisions on operational & materials matters that affect the supply chain, inventory and logistics.
- JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- DISCRETION: Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division or company operations.
- INTERACTION: Regularly interacts with executives and internal customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers/suppliers and management while attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
- SUPERVISION: Responsible for managing the Material Supply-Chain and Inventory Control programs for our Textile product family working with department managers within the Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance organizations.
