Job summary

A leading company is currently seeking an Assistant Accounts to join their team in Peshawar. The ideal candidate will maintain books of accounts, record daily financial transactions, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. They should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, along with proficiency in accounting software and strong organizational skills. This position is perfect for individuals with 0-5 years of experience who are detail-oriented and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers.
  • Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices, bills, and expense claims.
  • Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts.
  • Assist in GST/VAT, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Support audits by preparing required documents and schedules.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/accountants.

Skills

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
