AS Cable Networks LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years of hands‑on experience in automating tests for web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation frameworks, API testing, and modern QA practices, with the ability to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing, and user‑centric software solutions. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools and best practices.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing through automation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with manual QA to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, logs, and reports.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Ensure test coverage for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Maintain and update automation scripts as applications evolve.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives from a QA perspective.
Job Specification
  • 2+ years of experience in QA Automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting language such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with API automation testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Good understanding of locators, waits, assertions, and test design patterns.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
