About the Role Arthur Lawrence is seeking a seasoned Director – Finance & Accounting Services (FAS) to lead and co‑lead Pakistan‑based Finance & Accounting BPO operations. This leadership role is responsible for client delivery excellence, process optimization, team development, and strategic growth of finance outsourcing services for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Delivery

• Lead new client onboarding, including review, submission, and discussion of agreed deliverables
• Act as a primary point of contact with client leadership, addressing escalations, operational issues, and performance gaps
• Communicate risks, bottlenecks, and corrective actions to ensure SLA and KPI adherence
• Advise clients on finance, accounting, compliance, and process improvements

Finance Operations & Compliance

• Oversee end‑to‑end finance and accounting BPO services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Plan and manage annual deliverables including 1099 filings, property taxes, annual closings, audits, and statutory reporting
• Liaise with external auditors and vendors, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to IAS/IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP standards

Process Improvement & Technology

• Identify and implement process automation, efficiency tools, and best practices
• Lead ERP implementation and integration, including Oracle NetSuite and QuickBooks
• Develop and present financial analysis, dashboards, and KPI reports for executive decision‑making

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop multi‑level finance teams across BPO engagements
• Drive resource planning, task allocation, and productivity management
• Implement team‑building initiatives, training programs, and performance management frameworks
• Actively participate in recruitment, talent development, and retention strategies

Strategic & Ad‑Hoc Initiatives

• Formulate and execute strategies for ad‑hoc and special client assignments
• Research and introduce new skill sets and service offerings to expand BPO capabilities
• Support business integration planning and cross‑functional collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Education: CA or ACCA (preferred)
• Experience: 12+ years of overall relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting BPO / Shared Services / Outsourcing
• Proven experience managing international clients (US/UK preferred)
• Technical & Functional Skills: Strong knowledge of IAS / IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP; Expertise in financial reporting, audit coordination, compliance, and process controls; Hands‑on experience with Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems; Advanced skills in financial analysis, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills; Strategic thinker with a process‑driven and client‑focused mindset; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced BPO environment
