Job summary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Waiter/Bartender to join the hospitality team at Vista Marina Hotel, part of FOD Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. As a Waiter/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining and beverage service to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality. This position is integral to creating memorable experiences for our guests and upholding the reputation of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and promptly seating them at appropriate tables in accordance with restaurant procedures

• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, whilst making knowledgeable recommendations

• Serving food and beverages in a professional manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to health and safety standards

• Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wines and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and precision

• Maintaining knowledge of all menu items, specials, pricing and preparation methods to assist guests with selections

• Handling payments and processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Clearing and resetting tables promptly between seatings

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining and bar areas, including stations and equipment

• Working collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations

• Responding to guest requests and concerns professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction

• Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Waiter and/or Bartender in a professional hospitality setting

• Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines and beverage service standards
