About the role

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join the team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Calamba City, Laguna. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring satisfaction and building lasting relationships with customers. This position is fundamental to our hospitality operations, directly contributing to the reputation and success of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them at available tables in a timely and courteous manner

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage options

• Taking accurate food and drink orders from customers and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Serving food and beverages promptly and in accordance with proper service standards and etiquette

• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests

• Clearing tables efficiently and maintaining a clean, hygienic dining environment

• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions with accuracy

• Collaborating with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery

• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour whilst representing the establishment positively

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when taking orders and processing transactions

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high service standards

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, carry trays and move about the dining area

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette is preferred

• A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work as part of a team

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

• Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous
