Job summary

Vista Marina Hotel in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This full-time role manages all aspects of our laundry operations, ensuring linens, towels and uniforms are processed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will operate commercial laundry equipment, monitor cycles, handle chemicals safely, deliver cleaned items to guest areas, and maintain a clean, well-organised laundry room while supporting a professional

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean laundry to designated hotel areas in a timely manner.

About the role

Vista Marina Hotel, located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales, is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected by our guests. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel's laundry operations, ensuring that linens, towels, and uniforms are processed efficiently, professionally, and to the highest quality standards. Your contribution directly impacts guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of Vista Marina Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort and categorise soiled linens, towels, uniforms and other fabrics according to colour, fabric type and washing requirements
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers and pressing machines, whilst adhering to safety protocols
• Measure and dispense appropriate quantities of detergent and other cleaning agents according to established procedures
• Monitor and manage washing cycles, ensuring proper temperature settings and cycle durations for different fabric types
• Remove and fold clean linens, towels and uniforms with attention to detail and proper presentation standards
• Press and iron items as required, maintaining crisp finishes and professional appearance
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room, including regular cleaning and sanitation of equipment
• Track and manage inventory levels of linens and report shortages or excessive wear to management
• Deliver clean laundry to designated areas of the hotel in a timely manner
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in hotel housekeeping, laundry operations or similar hospitality environments
• Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate washing and care techniques
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision in work output
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the housekeeping department
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings or evenings, as required by the hotel's operational needs
• Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
• Familiarity with health and safety procedures, particularly regarding chemical handling and hazard awareness
