FOD Corporation (Vista Marina Hotel) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. The on-site role involves maintaining HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to support seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, while upholding high standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or handyperson roles, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of building maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and structural components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff with efficiency and professionalism.
• Conduct preventative maintenance programmes to identify and resolve potential problems before they escalate.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and components to maintain operational standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Perform general handyperson tasks including painting, carpentry, and minor renovations.
• Assist in coordinating with external contractors for specialised repair work when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work and minimise disruption.

About the role

FOD Corporation (Vista Marina Hotel) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our property located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment where your technical expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels to support seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality

• Effective communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

• Physical capability to perform manual labour and work at heights when necessary

• Relevant certifications in plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC systems are advantageous

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
