GoLean Health is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist in Davao City. This role handles high-volume calls, texts, emails, and scheduling workflows to ensure a warm, professional patient experience across channels.

The ideal candidate will manage intake, follow-ups, and reactivation efforts, maintaining privacy and accuracy in every interaction while supporting clinic coverage, including Saturdays when required.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with clear, neutral accent and strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient-facing messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist / Patient Communication Specialist or similar healthcare support role.
• Ability to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Strong patient service mindset, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.
• Must own a Mac OS device and reliable wired internet (LAN).
• Flexible with schedule and willing to work Saturdays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to patient texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages in a timely manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect intake information; manage rescheduling in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referral opportunities before routine rescheduling.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach for inactive patients to convert inquiries to bookings.
• Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling notes, and communication documentation.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep the provider schedule full and organized.
• De-escalate patient concerns related to scheduling, billing, or insurance.
