Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a polished Patient Care Communications Specialist to support a chiropractic clinic. The role will be the voice of the practice, handling calls, texts, emails, and scheduling with warmth and professionalism.

You will manage high-volume communications, schedule appointments in MacPractice, and ensure accurate records while maintaining patient privacy and empathetic service. Flexible hours include Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Prior experience as Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or similar healthcare support role.
• Comfortable handling high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Must own and work from a Mac OS device (MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini).
• Reliable high-speed wired internet (LAN).
• Must be flexible with schedule and willing to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and fax messages in a timely, accurate manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect intake information; manage existing appointments in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals over routine rescheduling.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach to convert inquiries to bookings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep provider schedule full and organized.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing, or insurance concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Know when to listen, gather details, offer callbacks, and avoid information overload.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows inside Weave.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA standards.
