Canon Business Process Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support financial analysis and monthly closing. You will prepare financial statements, journal entries, and reconcile vendor accounts in a hybrid work setup with night shifts.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for providing financial analysis reports to management. This position prepares financial statements and journal entries.
Process data entry of vendors invoices (non lease and lease invoices) in AP system
Process data entry for Intercompany Invoices
Reconcile vendors statement of account
Attend to vendors calls and inquiries
Support data processing of Employee T&E reimbursement
Assist in the monthly recon of vendor outstanding account
Create journal entries if necessary and perform account analysis
Edit, delete and post garnishees batch
Assist in processing and posting cash batches
Maintain or exceed the company's quality standards for all assigned tasks
Can work in a Night-shift schedule in a Hybrid environment
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in Finance related course
2 years experience in Accounting
Basic knowledge of all office equipment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel, Spreadsheet and Presentation Software
Ability to communicate with clients
Ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advanced organizational, administrative, record keeping and time management skills
Superior customer service skills and professional attitude
