About the role
This role involves performing routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly. You will inspect electrical panels, temperature, fluid levels, and replace filters following checklists. You will inspect and test equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, and read work orders to determine required repairs. You will repair and rebuild defective mechanical parts in generators, air condition units, and related equipment using hand tools and power tools. You will report to maintenance engineer or supervisor site situations that need supervisorial actions or decision. You will ensure that areas and sites of responsibility are well-maintained and prepare daily and weekly reports of preventive maintenance activities.

- Inspects and tests equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or reads work orders to determine required repairs
- Repairs and rebuilds defective mechanical parts in generators, air condition units, and related equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Reports to maintenance engineer or supervisor site situations that need supervisorial actions or decision
- Ensures that areas and sites of responsibility are well-maintained including housekeeping and grass cutting
- Prepares daily and weekly reports of preventive maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Vocational technical course graduate in electrical or mechanical field of study or has TESDA certification
- Knowledge on operating, repairs and maintenance of air condition units, generator sets, and related equipment
- Knowledge on AC/DC equipment maintenance and repairs
- At least one year working experience in the same capacity or background
- Skills in basic to technical problem solving, judgment, time management, communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills
- Basic to advance knowledge and skills in handling and troubleshooting electronics and mechanical equipment such as generators and air conditioning units
- Able to work with moderate discomfort and risk such as operating heavy machinery or dangerous equipment, or frequent exposure to hazardous materials
- Able to lift heavy materials and work tools
- Able to work in environmental discomfort such as poor ventilation, loud noises, and extremes of heat or cold
- Able to perform continuous moderate with some strenuous physical exertion including standing, climbing, crawling, and regular lifting of objects, and work on heights when needed
