Job summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation is seeking a skilled electromechanical maintenance technician to install, inspect, and service electromechanical systems in our terminal facilities in Metro Manila. You will read electrical diagrams, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults with testing tools, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Able to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on terminal machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults using testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, generators, control panels, electrical systems, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and specs.
• Perform maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, valves, piping-related equipment, and other terminal systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormalities, potential failures, and safety hazards.
• Replace defective components and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical equipment and systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on terminal machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate testing instruments and diagnostic tools.

• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, generators, control panels, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical specifications.

• Perform maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, valves, piping-related equipment, and other terminal systems.

• Assist in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment, when applicable.

• Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment abnormalities, potential failures, and safety hazards.

• Replace defective electrical and mechanical components as necessary.

• Perform equipment testing after repairs to ensure proper and safe operation.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection checklists, and repair reports.

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other technicians to resolve equipment issues.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

• Follow company HSE policies, work permit requirements, and safety procedures, particularly when working around fuel and other hazardous operations.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.

• Recommend necessary repairs, replacement of components, or improvements to prevent recurring equipment failures.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, plant, depot, terminal, or oil and gas environments is an advantage.

• Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Able to use multimeters, electrical testers, hand tools, and power tools.

• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of motors, pumps, generators, control panels, and automation systems is an advantage.

• TESDA certification or relevant technical certifications are an advantage.

• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance work.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
