Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in commercial and industrial facilities in Metro Manila. You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems, ensuring safe, continuous operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting panels, diagnosing faults, servicing AC units, maintaining pumps and plumbing, and recording work orders. Flexibility for rotating shifts and safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Graduate in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, RAC/HVAC Servicing, or related trade.
• TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM), RAC Servicing (PACU/CRE), or Plumbing is highly preferred
• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance within commercial/industrial settings in Metro Manila
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and blueprints
• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, breakers, lighting, transformers, and generators
• Diagnose wiring faults, replace fixtures, switches, outlets, and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Service and troubleshoot air conditioning units (split, window, VRF/VRV, central systems)
• Inspect and maintain water pumps, motors, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems
• Repair water distribution lines, drainage, sewer pipes, faucets, valves, and restroom fixtures
• Log maintenance activities and equipment histories in logbooks or CMMS
• Carry out basic carpentry, masonry, tile repairs, door/lock adjustments, painting, drywall patching
• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to identify defects and safety risks
• Follow OSH standards, including LOTO and proper PPE use
• Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries or transport as needed
• Maintain records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition

About the role

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician is responsible for delivering comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance across commercial, corporate, residential, or industrial facilities. This hands-on role handles troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing upkeep of electrical, HVAC/mechanical, plumbing, and general building civil works to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, load balancing checks, and preventive maintenance on electrical distribution panels, circuit breakers, lighting, transformers, and backup generator sets

• Diagnose wiring faults, replace defective fixtures, switches, outlets, and ensure all electrical repairs comply with local safety standards

• Service, clean, and troubleshoot air conditioning units (split-type, window-type, VRF/VRV, and centralized air-handling systems)

• Inspect and maintain water pumps, motors, exhaust fans, and mechanical ventilation systems

• Maintain and repair water distribution lines, drainage networks, sewer pipes, faucets, valves, and restroom fixtures

• Monitor water tank levels, pump rooms, and clear drain clogs promptly

• Carry out basic carpentry, masonry, minor tile repairs, door closer/lockset adjustments, painting, and drywall patching

• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to identify and log structural or architectural defects

• Follow Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Document all completed work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment histories via logbooks or CMMS software

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Vocational Graduate in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, RAC/HVAC Servicing, or related trade

• TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM), RAC Servicing (PACU/CRE), or Plumbing is highly preferred

• Minimum 1–3 years of hands‑on experience as a Multi‑Skilled Technician or Building Maintenance Technician in commercial high‑rise, BPO, retail, or industrial facilities in Metro Manila

• Proficiency in using multi‑testers, power tools, diagnostic gauges, and manual hand tools

• Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and architectural blueprints

• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require

• Strong troubleshooting skills and physical fitness to handle manual labor (lifting, ladder climbing)

• Safely operate company vehicles for delivery, transport of goods, or personnel

• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies

• Maintain proper records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition
