Job summary

Food Terminal Incorporated is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of generators, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a technical-vocational background, NC II TESDA preferred, and hands-on experience in diagnosis, repair, and documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of relevant technical-vocational course, preferably in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• TESDA NC II in a relevant technical specialization is preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Relevant training set maintenance, air-conditioning and refrigeration servicing, electrical troubleshooting, and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection and preventive maintenance of generator sets, air-conditioning units, refrigeration systems, cold storage equipment, and other facility utilities.
• Timely diagnosis and repair of defective mechanical, electrical, and technical equipment to minimize operational disruptions.
• Proper maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, and other building facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Ensuring that equipment and facilities remain operational, safe, and compliant with applicable maintenance and safety standards.
• Accurate and timely submission of maintenance reports, inspection records, repair logs, and recommendations for equipment servicing or replacement.
• Prompt response to technical concerns and assistance in the installation, testing, and servicing of equipment and facility systems.
