Job summary
FIS in the Philippines is seeking a Systems Operations Analyst to help keep our financial services platforms running in a 24x7 environment. You will support client-facing systems, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve processing errors.
This role requires knowledge of Unix/Linux and mainframe/open systems, strong troubleshooting, and clear communication. Onsite at BGC or EcoPlaza Makati with shifting schedules.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and mainframe/open systems environments.
- Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and production control tools.
- Experience with batch and report processing and operational procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving with clear communication.
- Willingness to work shifting, rotating and/or graveyard schedules.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Level 1 support and coordinate with teams on troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Monitor 24x7 hardware/software to ensure reliable performance and availability.
- Identify abnormal processing conditions, investigate issues and resolve errors promptly.
- Perform batch/report processing using production control tools.
- Prepare operational checklists and reports, and communicate with clients and internal teams.
