FIS in the Philippines is seeking a Systems Operations Analyst to help keep our financial services platforms running in a 24x7 environment. You will support client-facing systems, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve processing errors.

This role requires knowledge of Unix/Linux and mainframe/open systems, strong troubleshooting, and clear communication. Onsite at BGC or EcoPlaza Makati with shifting schedules.

• Knowledge of the financial services industry and mainframe/open systems environments.
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and production control tools.
• Experience with batch and report processing and operational procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving with clear communication.
• Willingness to work shifting, rotating and/or graveyard schedules.

About The Role

As a Systems Operations Analyst, your skills will help keep our technology platforms running smoothly. You'll support client-facing systems and applications, troubleshoot production issues, resolve processing errors and help maintain reliable operations in a 24x7 environment. This is an opportunity to build your technical skills while supporting technology that plays an important role in financial services.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 1 support and coordinate with support teams or product owners on troubleshooting, maintenance and related concerns
• Monitor and manage hardware and software in a 24x7 processing environment to support reliable performance and availability
• Identify abnormal processing conditions, investigate issues and take appropriate action to resolve errors in a timely manner
• Perform batch and report processing and use production control tools and resources to respond to system processing errors
• Prepare operational checklists, statistical summaries and daily, weekly and month-end reports, while maintaining proactive communication with clients and internal teams

What You Bring

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial services industry and mainframe and/or open systems operating environments
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and the ability to use production control tools to analyze and respond to system processing errors
• Knowledge of operational procedures, management reporting and management information systems, including experience performing batch and report processing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize abnormal processing conditions and take appropriate action
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical audiences, and the flexibility to work shifting, rotating and/or graveyard schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification
