Job summary

FIS is seeking a Systems Operations Analyst to keep our client-facing systems humming. You will support and troubleshoot production environments, drive issue resolution, and proactively investigate errors while building your skills and career in fintech.

You will manage 24x7 processing, coordinate with product owners, and maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams. This role requires shifting/graveyard schedules and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Experience with mainframe or open systems operating environments.
• Ability to use production control tools to analyze and respond to processing errors.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
• Knowledge of management reporting and MIS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for varied audiences.
• Experience performing batch/reports processing.
• Willingness to work shifting/graveyard schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 1 Support. Coordinate with the team to troubleshoot and address concerns.
• Manage hardware and software in a 24x7 environment to maintain peak performance.
• Recognize abnormal processing conditions and respond to resolve errors promptly.
• Prepare checklists and summaries for daily, weekly and month-end reports.
• Identify abnormal conditions and make appropriate response decisions.
• Maintain proactive contact with clients and act as client advocate internally.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
