Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in direct supply chain or logistics management; dairy/yogurt exp preferred.
• ERP proficiency with SAP/Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of cold-chain logistics and food safety (HACCP).
• Excellent negotiation and cross-functional leadership abilities.

About the role

You will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations—from raw material sourcing (milk, cultures, fruit flavorings, packaging) to the delivery of perishable finished goods. Because yogurt has a strictly managed shelf life and requires cold-chain integrity, your role is vital in balancing high product freshness, inventory control, and cost-efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution networks to guarantee product safety and quality for perishable dairy goods
• Monitor stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) and manage expiration dates to minimize yogurt and dairy product write-offs and waste
• Oversee inventory levels across internal facilities and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to prevent stockouts or overstocking
• Procure specialized raw materials, including fresh dairy inputs, cultures, sweeteners, fruit preparations, and eco-friendly packaging
• Negotiate contracts, lead times, and pricing with agricultural and food-grade vendors to secure reliable supply lines
• Monitor supplier performance and establish robust risk-mitigation strategies for seasonal milk fluctuations or ingredient shortages
• Drive demand forecasting in collaboration with sales and marketing to account for fast-moving trends in functional or flavored yogurt lines
• Coordinate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align manufacturing batch schedules with actual retail demand
• Optimize primary and secondary transportation routes for refrigerated freight to ensure on-time delivery to grocery and retail partners
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time in-full (OTIF), freight costs, and inventory accuracy, reporting results to senior leadership

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of direct supply chain or logistics management experience, with at least 2–3 years specifically handling perishable foods, dairy, or yogurt products
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
• Deep knowledge of cold-chain logistics
• Strong negotiation skills
• Cross-functional leadership capabilities
• Creative problem-solving under tight delivery schedules
