Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee the accurate and efficient management of inventory, including receiving, storage, and distribution of food products.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and ensure accurate stock levels.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
Order Fulfillment:
Coordinate order processing and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Work closely with the sales and production teams to manage order priorities and deadlines.
Logistics and Distribution:
Manage logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, and receiving activities.
Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and manage relationships with third- party logistics partners.
Optimize routing and scheduling to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
Staff Management:
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about warehouse processes and safety procedures.
