Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Control Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure efficient flow of goods, and maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. The ideal candidate will lead warehouse teams, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure smooth cold chain or general warehouse operations depending on assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and timely updates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), if applicable.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and cold storage handling standards.
• Lead, coach, and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to achieve operational targets.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Production, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational issues.
• Prepare and submit operational reports (inventory, productivity, incidents, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
