Global Dollarstore Inc in Metro Manila is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support cost efficiency across Purchasing, Warehouse, Merchandising, Sales, and Operations.

You will monitor stock, prepare replenishment plans, identify slow-moving items, coordinate with suppliers on orders and lead times, and generate regular performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years in supply chain, inventory planning, or purchasing.
  • Experience in retail or multi-store operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and product availability.
  • Prepare supply requirements and replenishment plans based on demand, sales, and inventory data.
  • Identify slow-moving, overstocked, and potentially out-of-stock items and recommend actions.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers on purchase orders, delivery schedules, lead times, and availability.
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse to align demand and supply.
  • Monitor inbound deliveries and ensure products are delivered per schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock availability, purchase orders, deliveries, and supply chain performance.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, inventory management, lead times, and operational efficiency.

About the role

The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the company's end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of products and materials. The role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, supporting cost efficiency, monitoring supply performance, and ensuring smooth coordination among suppliers, Purchasing, Warehouse, Merchandising, Sales, and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and product availability
  • Prepare supply requirements and replenishment plans based on demand, sales, and inventory data
  • Identify slow-moving, overstocked, and potentially out-of-stock items and recommend appropriate actions
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing team and suppliers regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, lead times, and product availability
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery of stocks and materials
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams to align demand and supply requirements
  • Monitor inbound deliveries and ensure products are delivered according to agreed schedules

About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Preferably 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, or a related function
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, or multi-store operations is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP, inventory, or supply chain management systems is preferred
  • Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
