Job description

The Warehouse Manager oversees end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations for the central commissary and manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for directing a multi-shift, continuous operational structure covering Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), Dry Goods Storage, Chilled/Frozen storage facilities, and Advance Warehousing staging. The Warehouse Manager ensures accurate inbound receiving, order picking, staging, loading bay throughput, and outbound dispatch to support the supply demands of all restaurant branches.

Key Responsibilities
1. Shift & Team Operations Leadership
  • Direct, lead, and supervise multi-shift warehouse teams across three daily operational shifts.

  • Oversee shift personnel including Warehouse Supervisors, Inbound Receivers, Outbound Checkers, Order Pickers, Dispatchers, and Administrative/Planning Officers.

  • Establish shift handover protocols, enforce daily operational KPIs, and ensure optimal labor utilization across all functional areas.

2. Storage & Facility Management (RM, FG & Dry Warehouse)
  • Manage storage workflows across dual facility zones: Raw Materials / Finished Goods (RM/FG) and Dry Warehouse operations.

  • Oversee high-capacity storage areas, including specialized staging zones, chiller facilities, and frozen storage rooms.

  • Maintain strict inventory layout, slotting efficiency, and high pallet capacity usage across all warehouse rooms and hallways.

3. Inbound Receiving & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee all inbound receiving processes for raw ingredients, dry goods, packaging, and finished goods across all operational shifts.

  • Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and Procurement to verify receipt accuracy, product quality, temperature requirements, and vendor compliance upon delivery.

  • Ensure immediate and accurate system logging of received stock by inbound administrative personnel.

4. Outbound Staging, Picking & Order Dispatch
  • Manage end-to-end outbound operations, including picking, item checking, staging, and dispatching orders to restaurant branches.

  • Implement structured 3-day rolling picking and staging schedules to support peak operational demands.

  • Oversee loading bay operations across inbound/outbound docks, ensuring efficient truck turnaround times and zero dispatch bottlenecks.

5. Advance Warehousing & Cold Chain Staging
  • Manage Advance Warehousing protocols for fast-moving deliveries across a 3-day operational cycle:

    • Day 1: Docking area, room dispatching, loading bay staging, and ongoing store deliveries.

    • Day 2: Chiller room sorting, Just-In-Time (JIT) advance picking, and staging.

    • Day 3: Secondary room sorting, Finished Goods (FG), and Raw Materials (RM) frozen storage management.

  • Monitor strict cold chain compliance for temperature-sensitive perishable items during storage, picking, and staging.

6. Inventory Accuracy, Control & Planning
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Administrative and Planning Officers to maintain strict inventory accuracy and sub-ledger reconciliation.

  • Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) inventory rotation to minimize product wastage and shelf-life expiration.

  • Oversee routine cycle counts, physical inventory audits, variance root-cause analysis, and system updates.

7. Safety, Sanitation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Enforce strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).

  • Ensure clean, organized, and safe working conditions across all loading bays, hallways, cold rooms, and dry storage areas.

  • Monitor equipment health, material handling equipment (MHE), and coordinate routine preventive maintenance.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive warehouse management experience in a fast-paced Food & Beverage (F&B), central kitchen, food manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
