The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the company’s end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, production, logistics, and inventory control. This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader capable of scaling operational capabilities, driving cross-functional alignment, and implementing technology-enabled solutions to optimize performance across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Chain Management:
- Lead and optimize supply chain operations, including procurement, production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Strategic Operations Planning:
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on scalability, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Lead and mentor multi-site teams, foster collaboration across Sales, Finance, HR, and Purchasing, and promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.
Tech-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage ERP, WMS, and advanced supply chain planning tools to drive operational efficiency, reporting, and informed decision-making.
Logistics, Warehousing & Compliance:
- Ensure smooth logistics and warehousing operations, including cold chain management for perishable or imported food items, while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Minimum 13 years of operations experience, with at least 6 years in senior leadership within food manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG.
- Proven track record in managing multi-site operations, scaling supply chain capabilities, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong expertise in inventory management, production scheduling, import/export logistics, and warehouse operations.
- MBA preferred.
- Tech-savvy and data-driven, with hands-on experience in ERP, WMS, and supply chain planning tools.
- Knowledge of cold chain management for perishable or imported food items is highly desirable.
