Job summary

Jose C. Feliciano College Foundation, Inc. (JCFC) is seeking an experienced HR Head to lead and develop the Human Resources Department.

The role oversees HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and organizational development within a higher education setting. The successful candidate will drive strategic HR initiatives, ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, and provide guidance to school administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in the education sector is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall operations of the Human Resources Department.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention.
• Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary matters.
• Manage performance evaluation and employee development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and monitor employee records, contracts, reports, and other HR documentation.
• Coordinate HR-related requirements for accreditation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and retention initiatives.
• Provide HR guidance and recommendations to school administrators and management.
• Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
