Job summary

VaVa Virtual Assistants is seeking a seasoned Chief of Staff to act as a strategic partner to leadership. The role is remote, independent contractor, and requires thinking at founder level, filtering attention, and translating vision into action for client engagements.

You will join a contractor community with regular client calls and virtual gatherings, helping shape strategic decisions while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a senior operational, strategic, or executive-level support role.
• At least 3 years of experience working full-time in a virtual/remote capacity.
• Available at least 20 hours per week to support high-touch clients.
• Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the founder or executive and think alongside them.
• Filter and manage what reaches the executive's attention and what can be delegated.
• Translate the executive's vision into clear direction for the team and ensure alignment.
• Prepare the executive for high-stakes meetings, briefings, and external engagements.
• Oversee reporting to give real-time insight into operations and progress toward goals.
• Act as a senior liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
