Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Banking Relationship Manager to drive growth of loan and deposit portfolios by managing end-to-end client relationships, from business development to deal structuring and portfolio management.

You will provide tailored financial solutions across loans, treasury, trade and transaction banking products, ensuring strong credit quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance while building long-term client partnerships for sustainable revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Solid experience in account management or relationship management within banking/financial services.
• Strong credit evaluation skills and ability to analyze financial statements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and proactive engagement.
• Monitor client accounts and address issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting and client outreach.
• Offer banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade, and treasury products.
• Evaluate client creditworthiness and prepare loan proposals with financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Manage and monitor assigned portfolio and risks, with performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements and documentation.
