Job summary

Metrobank in Cavite is seeking a Relationship Manager to drive growth of the loan and deposit portfolio by managing end-to-end client relationships. You will develop business opportunities, assess creditworthiness, and structure proposals while maintaining high credit quality and regulatory compliance.

You will build long-term client partnerships, deliver tailored banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade, and treasury, and monitor portfolio performance to contribute to sustainable revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong background in credit evaluation and financial statement analysis.
• Strategic thinking and strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, calls, and check-ins.
• Monitor client accounts and proactively address potential issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting and engaging potential clients.
• Understand client needs and offer appropriate banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade, and treasury products.
• Evaluate client creditworthiness and prepare loan proposals with proper financial analysis and structuring.
• Coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Manage and monitor assigned portfolio, including performance tracking and early risk identification.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation.
