Job summary

Metrobank in Cavite is seeking a Relationship Manager to drive growth of loan and deposit portfolios by managing end-to-end client relationships, from business development and credit evaluation to deal structuring and portfolio management.

You will deliver tailored banking solutions, including loans, treasury, trade, and transaction banking products, while ensuring strong credit quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong background in credit evaluation and financial statement analysis.
• Strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication; active listening.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups.
• Monitor client accounts and address issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospective clients.
• Understand client needs and offer banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade, and treasury products.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and prepare loan proposals with financial analysis and structuring.
• Coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and timely processing of transactions.
• Manage portfolio performance and identify early risk indicators.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements and maintain documentation.
