Job summary

Okta seeks an Renewal Manager to oversee renewals across APJ, coordinating with sales, customer success, and legal to maximize retention and revenue. This role emphasizes strategic renewal planning, value validation, and cross-functional collaboration to secure ongoing contracts.

The position requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and data-driven decision making to drive renewal success and identify expansion opportunities across APJ.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewals, customer success, sales, account management or equivalent customer facing role.
• Comfort negotiating complex license agreements.
• Experience working with customers across APJ including Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Korea.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure timely renewals.
• Demonstrate sales and negotiation skills to renew contracts on favorable terms.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Prepare and deliver compelling renewal proposals to articulate value.
• Analyse renewal data to identify risks, opportunities and trends.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success and legal to ensure a seamless renewal.
• Manage a large portfolio of contracts and renewals to meet deadlines and targets.
• Utilise Okta solutions knowledge to position renewal options and minimize friction.
