Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an IT Support Associate to diagnose and resolve SQL database, hardware, and software issues. You will combine SQL expertise with hands-on troubleshooting in a dynamic environment at our Ortigas office.

The role requires 2+ years in IT support, strong Windows 10 knowledge, and customer-facing communication. Night shifts, weekends, and on-call support are part of the schedule with excellent growth and benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of IT, application, help desk, or technical support experience
Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server skills, including SQL queries, databases, and troubleshooting
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting across desktops, applications, peripherals, and systems
Experience supporting pharmacy software or pharmacy technology environments preferred
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 or later and basic network/connectivity troubleshooting
Customer-facing or phone-based technical support experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
Ability to manage multiple issues independently and within a team
Flexibility for occasional weekend and on-call support

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve SQL database, software, hardware, application, and connectivity issues
Use Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries to investigate and troubleshoot application-related concerns
Investigate, reproduce, and document potential software defects for advanced technical review
Manage support requests received through phone and ticketing channels
Record troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions accurately in the support system
Explain technical solutions clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the appropriate technical teams
Stay current on application features, system updates, workflows, and troubleshooting practices
Deliver professional, solutions-focused support while collaborating with the wider support team
