Emapta Philippines seeks a System Administration Lead to combine hands-on Windows Server and SQL Server expertise with team leadership to ensure reliable systems and service performance.

The role is onsite in Ortigas, with night shifts and weekends off, offering growth, premium benefits, and exposure to global teams. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of admin experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of system administration with Windows Server and SQL Server expertise
• At least 1 year in leading or mentoring a technical team
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL are advantageous
• Experience with Azure and AWS preferred
• Strong security and data-handling practices

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex Windows Server, SQL Server, network, and application server issues
• Oversee server setup, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations and ongoing administration
• Manage daily support operations across ticket queues, workloads, and priorities
• Monitor SLAs, queue performance, and KPI targets
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and performance reviews
• Coordinate after-hours maintenance and critical incident support
• Maintain runbooks and technical documentation
• Track team KPIs and service metrics
• Ensure HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2 compliance and data security
