Job summary

AMCS Group in Cebu, Philippines, is hiring a Software Support Engineer (MS SQL) for night shift. You will be the first point of contact, resolving customer issues, performing root-cause analysis, and documenting cases in our CRM while ensuring high-quality service.

The role emphasizes strong SQL querying, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with Azure/SaaS familiarity and a degree in IT or CS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to query SQL databases to analyze data for issue triage and resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, CE or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line support to customers for incidents/requests and meet AMCS quality standards and KPIs.
• Address and resolve incoming application questions and incidents from end users.
• Document all end user information and support case details in the CRM database.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring system issues.
• Record, track and document the problem-solving process.
• Test fixes and follow up to ensure adequate resolution of issues.
• Manage client issue calls and provide status across a portfolio of issues.
